Today the new, The Dark Knight Rises “Fire” poster was released on the official Facebook page. I like the colors and design of this one the most compared to the others before it. The same visual themes and cues return from the earlier posters, but this time Batman is front and center, and chaos is everywhere.
I know lots of people are excited to see this movie, but I like to play the skeptic.
Will it make millions of dollars? Yes. Will millions of fans collectively cream their pants when they first see it. Definitely. But will it mean it’s a better movie? I’m not so sure.
The Dark Knight was such a huge hit. Both movie-goers and the critics agreed that it raised the bar for what we expect in a superhero film. It was on many people’s best-of-year lists for a reason. That’s why I’m afraid for the film. It did everything so well that to expect Nolan to achieve that level of greatness is maybe impossible. With this year’s The Avenger’s breaking records and dominating the box office, we all know that it’s going to have an uphill battle. I mean, The Avenger’s was actually much better than I could have ever expected, and as a movie, it had a good story, a good cast and a good director in Joss Whedon. The Dark Knight has all those things as well, and even if it’s a good movie, a great movie, it’s going to be hard to be much better than The Dark Knight.
I want this movie to be impossibly good, and that’s where I know I will be wrong, but I can at least admit it. Either way, I’m super excited. Let’s put a smile on that face! Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Batman! ∞

It seems to me that this website doesnt load up in a Motorola Droid. Are other folks getting the same problem? I enjoy this site and dont want to have to miss it whenever Im away from my computer.

I experimented with taking a look at your blog in my iphone and the design doesnt seem to be right. Might wanna check it out on WAP as well as it seems most cellphone layouts are not working with your web page.

I have got 1 recommendation for your weblog. It appears like right now there are a number of cascading stylesheet troubles when opening a number of web pages in google chrome as well as opera. It is functioning okay in internet explorer. Possibly you can double check this.
I tried a few things to hopefully help the problems you were having. Since I don’t have either of those browsers, I couldn’t test it directly, by one of my friends said Chrome was working good with my page. Let me know, I want to do my best to make this page a good as possible before ramping content again next week.
Thanks for being so patient everyone, I apologize for the delays. I managed to fix the mobile phone issues (tested on 4 different phones) but the CSS issues continue to persist. I would need to update my account so I can go in and edit the code directly. It appears the theme is indeed causing the headaches, however the built in Firefox and Safari CSS Readers have no problem. There’s also an updated iPad layout. I wouldn’t have any idea what was going on if it weren’t for you all so thank you for the feedback so I can make this site even better! On another note, don’t worry new content is coming back next week! After a little hiatus (I was busy writing, working, editing, and filming for new blog content) a steady stream of content is coming, and I’m really excited for what I have in the future. Stay tuned!
